The Lake House Lower is a modern two-bedroom, a completely renovated luxury unit with central air and a modern gas fireplace. There’s all-new furniture and the kitchen and floor have been refreshed. And you can’t beat the view—there are 25 feet of glass that leads out to Bobs Lake.
The cottage is on Bobs Lake, occupying six acres with three other cottages, The Great House, The Eagle, and The Little House. Bobs Lake is Canada’s largest wilderness lake and it is gorgeous and clean.
For those who like to fish, there is a fish cleaning house and great docking for your boat, or rent from us.
The Lake House Lower has a flatscreen TV, a Malm fireplace, outdoor chairs and tables, a dock, a washer/dryer, a dishwasher, and a large fridge with an electric ice cream maker.
If you’re traveling as a group of two families, you can rent the second-floor unit, The Lake House Upper. You can spend time together but will have privacy as well.
The guest cottage sits a few yards away from the main cottage. Downstairs is a large living room with a Futon couch that opens up into a double bed. There is a punching bag and boxing gloves for you to work out with, as well as an exercise bicycle.
The guest cottage has two covered porches, one downstairs and one off the bedroom on the second floor each with a gorgeous view of the lake. (Actually, that was the spot I had picked for the main cottage, but the builder changed the location on me and had all the posts in by the time I had arrived – so the guest cottage got the best view).
Upstairs is a beautiful bedroom with a queen-size bed, air conditioner, telescope, skylight that opens, and another covered porch with an even more gorgeous view of the lake.
